What a great idea, your own web site! You have so many talents and you are making good use of them. I love your site, it’s kind of you doing the research and testing for us and we can just go out and get it or do it. Keep us in the loop and informed about healthy living and protecting the precious earth we live on.

Organically Conscious Living

My name is Deborah Schnitler. I am a Mother of three children, boy/girl twins and a younger son. I am dedicated to living a self aware life that includes awareness of the Earth, its resources, and how I can use them wisely to leave a legacy for my children and grandchildren so they can enjoy the same abundance of this world that I am. I believe you can have your cake and eat it too, and that one person can make a difference.

My Work I Love

I love being a mother, although for the first couple years I lost myself and momentarily forgot to enjoy life. Luckily I was able to find myself, positively direct my energy, and now I have my bearings again. I am a Holistic Health Practitioner and a recent student of Zero Balancing. Zero Balancing is amazing, and I encourage you to check out the link on my blogroll to find out more about it. I also do Tibetan Singing Bowl Therapy, which seems a little out there to some people, but is soooo effective! I have a Tibetan Bowl that was hand made in the 19th Century and using wooden mallets you can “sing” the bowls. When used in a therapuetic setting they are able to create the possibility for immense healing. I use the word “possibility” because healing, I’ve found, is a choice.

My other “work” related passion is horses. I love horses! I have ridden for twenty five, years and it never gets old. It is truly a blessing and a curse to have horses in your blood. A bad day with horses is still a great day.

My Other Passion

I am passionate about the Earth. Everything humans use, live in, eat, wear, buy, drive, want, see, etc. in some way, shape or form came from the Earth. I am passionate about seeking ways to bring awareness to others about simple solutions they can implement in their lives to make a kinder, gentler impact on the Earth. I have found all the choices I have made along those lines have enhanced my well being and have been profoundly positive.

My Meaning of Life

I believe the meaning of Life is to feel really, really good from the inside out. I believe if people feel good, they make better feel good choices, and I would love a better feel good world for my children, my sister’s children, and all the children.

About this Site

I developed this site for two reasons. The first is to have a creative outlet for my mental ramblings. The second is to make a difference by providing resources, products and information that are organic, natural, or enhance well being in some way (at least in my opinion). I too have my non-organic guilty pleasures, but it feels good to feel good, and in that sense a product that wasn’t necessarily made with organic material, becomes “organic”. DebsGreen is a work in process and I hope you enjoy its growth and evolution!
